A plan is evolving that will decide the direction in which the Town of Marshall will progress. In 2006, the Town of Marshall Planning Board began the process of revising the Comprehensive Master Plan. The plan written in 1967 is outdated and a new one waits to be written. We have the desire and the right to create the kind of community that promotes a better quality of life for our children and the many generations thereafter.
In order to fulfill this goal, an investment needs to be made. Your ideas, concerns and time are valuable to this process. Please invest them. Over the next several months you will be given opportunities to voice your opinions; we hope you will participate.
The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee will diligently piece it all together, but the content will be derived from you.
FOCUS GROUPS
The Town of Marshall Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee held four important public discussions in May in efforts to get the community's input on specific aspects of life in the Town of Marshall. We need your opinions and ideas on what works, what needs to be improved, and what we need and want for the Town of Marshall in the years to come. If you would like to provide your opinion, we are currently holding individual interviews.
Please contact Betty Hughes or Amy Buchholz to arrange an interview.
